BAYSIDE to Perform on Conan O'Brien

Victory Records group Bayside is about to break through into America's mainstream music consciousness on the strength of their acclaimed new album, The Walking Wounded, and exposure in a variety of high-profile media. Chief among them is a February 27 appearance on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, where they will perform their lead track "Duality." The song was hailed by Rolling Stone as "the year's first great emo single: a destructive romance, chugging guitars, swelling strings and an irresistible arena-ready chorus." What's more, the video to "Duality" has already been added on Fuse TV and MTVU; the latter will be playing it up to 35 times a week.

After recent live performances at a cutting edge videogame developer convention in Las Vegas and on the Madison Square Garden cable TV network, Bayside will be winning scores of new fans on the road throughout the year. Beginning February 21, they will embark on a nationwide tour with Anberlin. Soon after that, they head to England for a quick headlining jaunt, before returning to take the stage at the massive Bamboozle Festival, held at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on May 5 and 6. Then the band really gets into high gear—performing on the entire Vans Warped tour of North America throughout the summer. A fall headlining tour of America is now in the works.

By that time, the breadth of the quality on Bayside's new album, The Walking Wounded, will become frighteningly apparent and appreciated by the American public. As Rolling Stone concluded in its rave review of the album "If this is Wounded, Bayside will be scary when they reach full strength."
