Music Nation (http://www.musicnation.com), the artist development company, has announced the winners for the fifth week of its online multi-genre video music competition. Each week, the public, together with the Music Nation panel of judges, votes to determine which artists move on the quarterfinal round. Offering a chance for unsigned acts to have their music heard by some of the premier figures in the music industry, the panel consists of rock judges Joel and Benji Madden from Good Charlotte and producer Howard Benson, pop judges Charlie Walk, President of Epic Records, and producer Jonathan "J.R." Rotem, and urban judges Nelly, The Game and Mark Pitts, President of Urban Music at Jive Records. This week's winners in the rock genre are Red Racer and Dangerous Inc., Jacinda Haines (aka Betty Roze) and Chantelle Barry in pop; and in urban, GeeQue and The Flyboyz.
These six winners now move on to the quarterfinals, beginning April 23rd, which will be followed by semifinal and final rounds. Three artists one from each genre (rock, pop and urban) will win the ultimate prize: a
global recording contract with Epic Records. The winners will also be showcased on an episode of STRIPPED, Clear Channel Radio's exclusive in-studio performance series.
Rock Winners
Red Racer "Wake Up, Wake Up" Judges' Choice

"Wake Up, Wake Up" is extremely inventive, drawing on the use of a handheld camera, some crafty editing techniques and visual effects. The band's video recreates the dreamlike feel of the song, from the blurred imagery to the transition from black and white to color. Red Racer (Brad Roberson, Nando, Steve Ridzon, Tom Townshend) is based in Washington, DC.
Dangerous Inc. ‹ "Loaded" Nation's Choice *

Cortland, OH's Dangerous, Inc. is comprised of musicians who have long played in bands within the northeastern Ohio area. After struggling through various incarnations, the reinvigorated band recently released their album Life Is Pain. "Loaded" is culled from live performance footage, highlighting the band's intense stage presence.
Pop Winners
Jacinda Haines, aka Betty Roze, "Stupid Girl" Judges' Choice
http://pop.musicnation.com/v903
Betty Roze's "Stupid Girl" is a soulful, poppy song that crosses genre boundaries. The video's muted colors complement the song's story of being in a stagnating and frustrating relationship. An Alabama-born preacher's
daughter, Roze "lulls and roars her experiences with life and love over rock and blues grooves." Roze (24) is based in Los Angeles, CA.
Chantelle Barry ‹ "Letting Go" Nation's Choice *

Originally from Australia, now Chantelle Barry has been a busy woman for the past few years. At 16, Barry began writing her own songs and competing inInternational Song Festivals performing in three different languages. At 20, she was ranked as one of FHM magazine's World's Sexiest Women. Barry currently has an EP available and also appeared on both HBO's ŒEntourage'

Urban Winners
GeeQue ‹ "Dumb It Down / Gimme That Crown" Judges' Choice
http://urban.musicnation.com/v744
GeeQue first made a name for himself as host on the New York City TV show, ŒFreak It Wit Da Fellaz,' where he featured a number of guests including Alicia Keys, P. Diddy, and Master P, among others. Now focusing on his hip-hop career, GeeQue's "Dumb It Down / Gimme That Crown" is one video for both songs. "Dumb It Down" is an indictment of what he sees as the lack of originality in current mainstream hip-hop, while "Gimme That Crown" marks his arrival on the scene. GeeQue (27) is from New York, NY.
The Flyboyz ‹ "Get Large / Rollin On Dubs" Nation's Choice *
http://urban.musicnation.com/v760
Camden, NJ's The Flyboyz consists of MCs Devin Wade (23) and Traxx Trigga (23), as well as singer J. Notiq (20). Their video is also a two-for-one special video, featuring both the group's single, "Get Large," and b-side, "Rollin On Dubs," and showing their diversity in both beats and rhymes.
