The DONNAS Announce 2007 Fall Tour
In support of their first self-released album, Bitchin', The Donnas plan to hit the road and rock the nation to promote their newest venture. The tour begins Friday, September 14, at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, an appropriate venue to kick-off the highly anticipated US tour of America's hard-rock goddesses. With shining press already pouring in over Bitchin', including Billboard, Spin, Pitchfork, Alternative Press, Harp and more, the band is sure to live up to their loyal rock n' roll standards on this tour. True to The Donnas' form, fans can expect a kick-ass, headbanging live show chock full of high-energy guitar riffs, pounding bass lines, hard-hitting drum beats and potent, dynamic lyrics designed to chant and scream along to.
Fourteen years and seven critically acclaimed full-length albums later, Brett Anderson (lead vocals), Maya Ford (bass), Allison Robertson (guitar) and Torry Castellano (drums) have decided to take their careers into their own hands with the launch of Purple Feather Records, which is available through Redeye Distribution. Bitchin', set to hit stores September 18, 2007, represents the label's first release.
