His most recent tours have seen him headlining sold out concerts at venues from the Bowery Ballroom in New York to The Troubadour in Los Angeles. Now, just off of a successful run with Matt Nathanson, Cary is thrilled to announce an upcoming outing with Ben Lee that will take the two stellar troubadours across North America.
Cary Brothers, with his debut LP, Who You Are, offers up a melodic journey of indie heartache, a nod to 80's new wave, and unabashed pop redemption. Brothers' passionate vocals shift from quiet, in-the-room intimacy to stadium-worthy dynamic bursts of power, all alongside a blend of soaring acoustic and delay guitars, poignant string and piano arrangements, and lyrical honesty. Songs on the new release have been featured in "Grey's Anatomy," "ER," and the Grammy Award-winning "Garden State" soundtrack.
Cary recently appeared on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson to perform "Honestly," the theme song for the feature film Feast of Love starring Morgan Freeman and Greg Kinnear. The gorgeous video for "Honestly" was the first music video to get placement on the Apple Trailer web site.
